Job Description

Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.

Location: Onsite (Irvington, NJ) 

Hours: 7:30-4:30 Day shift (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform first article and in-process inspections per control plans/inspection plans, document results, and make start-up decisions.
• Identify, contain, and document all defective/suspect product.
• Operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures.
• Create forms
• Perform QC inspection rounds.
• Maintain the calibration database updated.
• Perform tests when required to make sure products are according to the requirements.
• Communication with engineering when issues are found during an inspection.
• Update quality objectives matrix.
• Keep training matrix updated.
• Responsible for updating the Quality Objectives
• Upload customer issues on the Trello board

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification .
• Basic Microsoft office ( excel – word)
• 1 year QC experience preferred.
• Company’s Quality Management System
• ISO 9001:2015 awareness
• Hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail
• Dedication to safety
